I had the honor of designing the cover for Erin Kong’s poetry book, Korean Mourning Rituals. I worked closely with Erin and read their poems to create a symbolic image we both felt captured the spirit and essence of their words. This project was close to my heart and I’m so happy with the outcome and its reception. I hand drew and inked the art for the cover, and then colored it digitally in Pixelmator.
